Finding a good dremmel

There are Walmarts 6 hours away from me. Lol. Yes my town is really sad! But I do have a Canadian Tire that sells them so I'll have to make a trip to the other town.

I just bought one from Lowes on Thursday and I absolutely LOVE it!  Their nails are so short and smooth!  NO scratching, and they were pretty cooperative after they go tused to the sound.  I got a Dremel, 7.2v with 50 accessories (great for crafts or regular household tasks) with a charger and carry case for $40.  I used the fine grit (120) drum sander on low speed and sat about 15 feet from a fan on low speed so I didn't inhale nail dust.  Their nails never got hot and I was done in about 10 min per dog.

I found one that's not Dremmel.. It's different name but same idea for 13$ so I'm gonna pick that up at the end of the month. Smile

Don't have a wally world here. Lol. Yeah I've got to remember to check about the cords. Forgot last time I was in the store.

I looked in Home Depot...and there were only big expensive ones.

Everyone says got to WalMart and get the rechargable that is $20. I did that yesterday...but its not 7.2... its 4.8 V.  I have it charging now but after reading this....I wonder if it will be okay or not????? Its the only one they had that was $20 so I thought this was the one to get. This is a big Great Dane.

However.....I have a little nail trimmer set for your hands...it takes batteries and it does buffing, cuticles and shapers....and I turned it on this morning to see what Gibby would do and he barked and barked.   I can see where this is going!

This is the one I have and love it.  http://www.petedge.com/Dremel-Mini-Mite-2-Speed-Cordless-Grinder-ZW77750.pro  With three cockers, I usually recharge the battery after each pup, but the cordless is the only way to go imo.  I order a ton of things of PetEdge, something to be aware of if you are not...an order under $60.00 is charged a handling fee.  Of course, I never have a problem spending enough!

I bought one with a cord and Maze is fine with it. We go into the bedroom, she plops on her chair and presents her front paws to be shortened.. I haven't done her back paws yet since they've always been shorter then the front.. Weird I know..
