Head tremors?

    Head tremors?

Ok, so Rafe did this weird thing today, and I've looked up the "boxer head tremors" and watched videos, but it's not really the same thing...  His head wasn't shaking, but it was more like the muscles in his head were contracting.  I've seen him do this once, but I think that it has happened before (I had some friends over playing cards and he was under the table with his head on one of their laps.  They said he was doing something weird, but by the time I was able to get over to the other side and see, he'd stopped doing it---I think this was the same thing).  The first time it happened was problably a month or two ago.  Any ideas?  This time when it happened I could kind of hear his teeth clinking together a little bit, but otherwise it just looked like the muscles in his head were contracting.  No other part of his body seemed to be affected.  He could still walk around fine, and it really didn't seem to bother him.  It only lasts for a few seconds, never more than a minute.  Should I be worried?  I haven't really been able to find anything besides the head tremors that I mentioned above, but that's not the same as what is happening to him.

could be seizure activity.  I would monitor closely and record dates, times and durations.  If it is increasing over the next few months; changes in intensity, or occurs more than twice in one day, off to the vet with the records of your observations.  If it is intermittent (once or twice a month)  I would continue to just monitor.  I would probably do a vet visit for more information on what else it could be and what to look for.

I took him to work with me yesterday and she said that it was probably just something similar to a twitch (like an eye twitch or a twitch in your knee).  *shrug*  I'll definitely keep a log of it, though, just in case.  Thanks for the idea.  :)
