Shew I thought I was weird for bathing my dogs in my undies or nothing at all. Glad to know I'm not alone. But in the summer the dogs get baths outside!!!

talk about super fast shipping wonder...you posted here asking if it was any good, and then you had it and used it in less than what 24hrs? I can't bring myself to ever pay the overnight shipping fees on stuff..I am too cheap.

This is why my dogs have been trained to, ahem, join me in the shower occasionally.  Embarrassed

Morrison even jumps up and puts his paws on the little shelf which helps me suds him up and rinse him off.  They shake off in the shower and then I let them out for towel time.  Of course, I am entirely nekkid most of the time.  For some reason DH really enjoys the dog's bath times!

My dog breeder/trainer sells it, I got it from there.

It's the best way to keep your bathroom dry!  When the dog is done I encourage him to shake as much as possible while the shower door is shut.  I towel dry him while still in the tub and let him out. Then I shower and get all the dog hair off me!

I bathe Bugsy inside most of the time - in our guest bathroom - he just hops in the tub and stands there very politely.  He will now even wait until I tell him to shake -

to think I use to have to chase him down and use a prong collar to keep him from running away!

I wash him in his pool in the summer  - again I used to have to tie him to the deck railings but he's fine with it all now.  I wonder why he decided it wasn't too bad after all Huh?

That shower curtain thing is just too funny, I do think it would freak the big fella out too.

Wow, I'm surprised at you people.  I bathe multiple dogs very day, and very rarely do I get soaked.  I think the last time I changed my shirt was maybe 2 months ago.  I wear a giant blue rubber apron while  I'm grooming, it goes a little below my knees.  I don't take my clothes off, I just protect them!

If I ever became a professional anal gland expresser, I might consider trying this thing out.Smile

I think that is a great curtain. But when I bath my dogs I just wear whatever and give them their bath first then take mine right after. :)

    ((raises my hand))

undies here too, followed immediately by my own shower.  Seems I'm in good company.

I think the shower curtain would freak my dogs out, giant gloves coming at them. Maybe I should say it would freak ME out.  A little too "bubble boy" for me.

Yeah, but do you bathe dogs at home all day? I always get wetter if I'm having to bend OVER the dog, LOL. I am a *huge* fan of raised tubs. When I worked at a shop with a floor bathing station, I refused to use it. I put EVERYTHING in the tub!

Hello All PET Owning Dog Washers,

I am the inventor of the Help 'em Wash PET Shower Curtain.  I can appreciate all your comments.  You are absolutely doing things the the way I did previously.   I personally have tested and retested my product using all types of dogs.  I recall one elder dog who enjoyed the warm shower compared to the cold hose, it was very interesting.  My dog Ysis (ice-es) an AKC German bred Pedigree Shepherd will be featured on my website very soon in a home movie we created. You will see me, well at least a part of me, using the PET shower curtain.  I will come back to this forum and let you know when you can see it.

I would like to add, however, there are a few things I don't like about my own product that I have been working on changing.  The first thing I am changing is the glove size, they are too big and they slip off my hands.  The other change is the length of the gloves, they are too long they don't need to be that long.  And finally the last change is the fact that the curtain is in your face.  One person mentioned that she thought it would build condensation.  No it doesn't do that but it certainly gets very warm.  So I am working with my manufacturer to put a "mesh" type window in the approximate area of where the face would be.  This would still protect from the splish splashers, provide air flow and allow you better communication with your pup.

I never intended for this product to replace the groomer or even to take away any quality bathing time you all have with your pets.  It is just an idea that I, a pet inspired at home mom of 2 boys, thought might make the cleaning of our pups and the clean up of the bathroom a more tolerable and enjoyable experience.  Oh less laundry too, I use 1 towel instead of 5.

*content removed, do not advertise on this site, thanks*

I hope that will spell your dog's breed correctly on your website. It's shepherd, not shepard. They are, after all, a HERDing breed.

I never bathe my dogs at home, because I would have to lug tons of equipment home with me.  Bathing and drying any one of my dogs is quite the ordeal.  I don't have little shaved-down and hairless dogs at my house. Wink

I too couldn't use a floor bathing station either.  I like to be at the dog's level.  And I think the dogs do too.
