I am not sure I have a problem or not, I am just not sure "how much" information I should pass on to the groomer. I don't want to seem like I don't trust them.
We have started going to a newer groomer with Maxine. She has done an excellent job on Max. Max is not the easiest dog as she gets REALLY nervous when we leave her places. I may have even mildly tranquilized her the last grooming. I told the groomer that. I don't go to the groomer often with my dogs, only about 2 times a year unless we have coat problems. My issue is Teddi.
I think I want to get Teddi groomed for the first time. I want to have Teddi's hair trimmed up from the surgery so both sides look the same from the back. Her thigh hair on the left is 10" long on the right is about 2". Teddi is not fond of being brushed, she isn't "bad" but she does not want to sit still for it and we do it in smaller tolerable chunks at home. She also is not fond of the dryer. It has improved with her swimming every week but she still tries to run away. Do I lay this all on the line for the groomer? She seems really nice, and has helped us bathe our dogs when we come in. She grooms out of our self serve dog wash.
Teddi's six month follow up is April 14 and I was thinking if we can afford it I would like to get both Max and Teddi groomed on the 12th so Teddi looks pretty for her last visit (Max needs her spring cleaning). I am just a little apprehensive with Teddi, probably because of her hip surgery. Am I being a goof ball?
