It's the beginning of allergy season in many places and places where it's still cold wind up with mega dust, etc. from the long winter, heating, etc.
Is the eye itself red at all?
I like the Similsan eyedrops very much -- you can get them down here in grocery stores like Publix, but you can also find them in any good health store. They are homeopathic -- meaning they really don't qualify as 'medicine' -- but are sooooo soothing. They have one for allergies, one for dry eye, and my particular favorite for anybuddy with red, irritated eyes is the "Pink Eye" formula which is super soothing.
Billy supposedly has "dry eye" and the eye drops for that are not only mega expensive, but even worse they contain cyclosporine (and trust me, we've had enough of THAT particular drug FOR-EVER!!!!). He does SO well with the Ssimilisan drops -- I use both the dry eye and the pink eye formulas for both Billy AND I. The dropper is the BEST dropper of any eye drop I've ever seen. No screw on cap (RAH!!). I've spilled more 'dropper' bottles and this one has the dropper attached right to the bottle. Works GREAT!!
They don't sting either -- not at all.
