spayed today

My uncle took my dog to the vet today and she was spayed the human socitey was the one who did it. I wasnt aware that they didnt provide pain medication but my question is there anything that he might be able to get over the counter to give to her until he can take her to the vet. It a long story but my apartment wont let me have pitbulls so my uncle is watching her until we move in a month in the mean time she got fixed well i didnt know that the place that was fixing her wasnt going to give her any pain medication .Or will she be ok with out it

She truely shouldn't need them. Any discomfort that she has will serve to keep her from overdoing while she heals. She doesn't likely have PAIN, just discomfort. I never give my dogs pain meds after a sp/ueter.

I also never send spays out with pain medication..if they get pain med they might over exeert themselves and put pressure on the incicion...the best pain med made is a lot of scratching behind the ears...never fails

My family has had pretty much all of our dogs spayed/neutered at the HS. We have never had them do a bad job and like the others said the dog doesn't need meds. I'd rather be a little uncomfortable than ripping herself open and causing much greater problems.
