Dane getting spayed on Tuesday...

Unless there's a complication from the surgery (and that's unlikely), I think you'll be surprised at well she's feeling after a few days.  I don't think a car ride will be any problem at all.

I know I keep adding to this but i didn't think i should make a new post because it is all the same thing.  Athena was spayed last Friday and everything has been fine besides her wanting to run and play.  I never had a female dog before so i was wondering if it is normal for her to seem saggy after.  Kind of like she had a litter of pups.  If so how long till it goes back to normal?

No answer yet?  It seems to be going down but is still saggy a little. Still want to see what anyone has to say about it.  Like i said it is my first female dog and i get worried about little things. 

I really dont know.  I have had Myla and my Kayla get spayed with no sagging (they came from a kill shelter so they didnt do anything with them until you adopted them).  Bailey was spayed so young at the shelter she was all healed when I got her.  My moms dog who we found on the street had her first period about a week after we found her so we got her done and there was no sagging.
 
It may be a bigger dog thing...?  I have not seen that happen before.

It seems too be going down a lot.  About 4 of the nipples are a little bigger than the rest.  I was mostly the skin around the incision so when i went to check it i had to lightly pull to see the incision (had to get her when she was standing up because she is hard to get to stay laying down when you bend down next to her.)  Like I said before this is my first female dog along with my first female great dane.  I know it takes males a little while for the skin to shrink back where their testicles were.  I wanted to get her spayed before her first heat but by the time she was healed from the broken jaw she was about 6 months and then i moved and a few weeks after that she went into heat.  It was rough because my 2 males were scheduled to be neutered a few a week into it.  It doesn't seems to bother her any and is going down so I guess i freaked out because she was saggy and her glands seemed swollen a little.
