• gail_j Posted : 1/12/2007 6:19:43 PM I should explain the photo's .. The first 3 are of her spay stiches. See how big of a cut they had to do? The last one on this page is of her leg after she blew the i.v. line 2 times. Thus was the result when she kept trying to lick it. The skin died and had to be cut and stiched. Couldn't staple it because of the drain and also because it went almost up to where the leg bends at the elbow. • gail_j Posted : 1/25/2007 4:51:51 PM She is doing just awesome now...Her tummy and her leg are healed and she is finally putting her foot down to walk instead of walking on her knuckles. I doubt she will get her toe nail back but that is o.k. I still love her..even if I'm just a grammy to her LOL!! Vet told me that dog's uterus was as long as his arm from the tip of his hand to his elbow and just full of pus.
