a little bleeding from stitches

• a little bleeding from stitches Tiffany Lybarger Posted : 1/10/2007 5:58:46 PM Our german shepherd, 6 months, was spayed today.  I went to get her out of the jeep and she jumped down out before I could get her .  So I checked and hadn't checked her stitches prior so not sure how they are supposed to look anyways, but there is a little blood. she is not bleeding a lot, just in around the stitches some blood.  Is this normal?  I over worry! • mrv Posted : 1/10/2007 6:02:05 PM A minor amount of blood, especially drying is well within normal limits.  Just keep monitoring the site and make sure you keep her from getting at the stitches.....
