The Right Age

• The Right Age UndefinedMelody Posted : 10/27/2006 1:37:50 PM What is the right age to have my pup neutered. I have heard different things..like 6 months..etc. but I'm not sure when I need to get it done. Right now, he is 2 months and 3 weeks, and has an appointment with the vet for his vacs. next week. I guess I could just ask her then, but I thought I would go ahead and find out. I know she appreciates it when I know what shes saying and I don't have to ask questions about every little thing, haha. • dvet Posted : 10/27/2006 5:26:20 PM I spayed early, ie 3-4 months when they were big enough to safely take anesthesia and for neutering, when ever I could get ahold of them ( the testicles)safely....However that is my technique....what ever your vet is comfroatable with is the right age...they can be done (females) at two ro three days butnot manyvets will do this...again the proper age is whatever your vet is comfortable with... 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
