Injury to Pad that is up on the leg

• Injury to Pad that is up on the leg fizzlbriches Posted : 6/20/2006 3:22:20 PM Ok, my sister just called, her Lab x G. Pyrenees mix has lacerated the pad thing that is up the leg a bit (anyone know what that is called). She is on the way to the vet but I wondered if anyone knew how bad an injury this is and what the vet might do. She will call me with an update or to get more information...I am looking up everything I can find on the net. Any help would be appreciated. The vet will likely clean and stitch the cut, and it'll probably heal up just fine. That's just my guess, though. • fizzlbriches Posted : 6/20/2006 3:52:58 PM Thanks for the info...apparently it is a pretty bad cut....my sister just updated me.....she took Tonks to Banfield and they said $800.00 which was just not possible.......so she took her to another place while I did research and made calls. This place said no more than $200 - $350 depending on if there is nerve damage (they have to put her under and re-attach it).
