• Large, round bump near mouth. photos included alli57 Posted : 7/16/2006 3:01:27 PM I was just giving my scottish terrier a bath, and I noticed this very large, deep reddish pink, pussing bump near the corner of her mouth. It was hidden beneath her beard, and I noticed the fur around it was coated in a reddish pus. I embedded the pictures in this post (I'm not sure how this works, I'm new ). I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered something similar. I plan on taking her to the vet soon. • Xebby Posted : 7/16/2006 3:06:28 PM Can't really tell without feeling it and knowing whats in it. Looks like a skin tumor but thats not always a bad thing. Some older dogs get these. Could also be an abces but a vet would have to check it out to let you know for shure what it really is.
