My elderly JR has a heart problem

Hi everyone, just an update on Emma, I have been giving her Co-Q-10 for a few days now, and I have seen a slight improvement, it might be too soon, or just my hopeful imagination but she seems to be wheezing/coughing less. I can only hope for the best. Emma has a fur friend playmate Kasey, my 2yr old Maltese. I got Kasey as a puppy and was in two minds whether Emma would accept a puppy at her age, but it turns out that she has been a good companion and gives her a bit of excercise and now Emma justs loves to snuggle up with her.

I am glad to hear that Emma is feeling a bit better. It is so heartbreaking when they don't feel well.
It is so nice that Emma and Kasey have become such wonderful sisters. It's funny how one can boost the others spirit.
The truest love of all is that of a doggies love.
Prayers for more improvement coming your way.

Hope all continues well for you and Emma. I'm glad she enjoys the company of your younger dog. That can make a big difference.

    Hello there!

Emma does seem to be improving.. the other day when Molly came around she seemed to be moving around alot more, and when I came to the door, she came to greet me! I'm glad to hear that she's still fighting for her health, and that Kasey is improving it by being excellent company.

By the way, I think Bailey misses having a few furry playmates to play with!

(Whoops, that reply was directed at Fur Family..sorry!)

I would like to thank everyone for their good wishes, Emma is still battling on. Kasey seems to know that something is wrong with her, she goes to Emma when she is asleep and sniffs her all over, then gently squeezes in the bed beside her. My Mum recently got a new puppy, Molly, Kasey loves to play with her and Bailey, but Emma gets a bit annoyed and tells them off. I guess to her they are just like little kids, so I usually keep the puppies out of her way.
