Italian Greyhound Sick

If you feel like you need to go then I would go.  Its hard to say from the outside... I hope someone with more info comes along soon.  To be honest I would go.  She could be dehydrated... and I know pale gums can sign an emergency.

The best advice I can give you is to go to the emergency vet if you are uncomfortable with your dog's condition. I know that doesn't give you any insight into what's going on with the dog, but if she is sick or dehydrated, it's best to get her in sooner than later. Good luck.

Grey gums is not a good sign. If you press your thumb nail into the gums, do they bounce back quickly or is there no change in color or does it take longer than 4 seconds to go back to normal color?
 
I would go ahead and take the furchild to an ER Vet just to be on the safe side. Especially if she is not feeling well and not acting right.

That is good to know about how to tell by checking our dogs gums...I have to remember that.
By now maybe you have already made the decision to take your dog in.  You DO have to worry about dehydration.
 
I just wanted to present one thought to you aside from the emergency conversation.   Our Dane Ollie used to get sick and vomit a lot for a couple weeks after receiving his monthy Heartworm medicine.   It took us several months to figure that out though, so I always like to tell that to others who have dogs that seem to be getting sick like this.  

Since a few days have passed since your post, I would imagaine you've seen your vet (you had mentioned an appt).

Is she throwing up bile in the early morning hours?
Many IG's do well with a meal before bedtime (my male needs it). He used to vomit bile in the wee morning hours as his stomach was empty. My IG's seem to do well with three feedings per day.
As for the gums, has your IG had any vaccinations lately? I am thinking about Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia, which can occur after vaccination. I know of a couple of IG's who have come down with it and pale gums can be a sign.
Although I have one IG whose gums are bright pink and the other's are not, yet they both have normal bloodwork.
So I wonder if it depends upon the individual.
I hope you've made contact with your vet in case there is a real problem. These little ones dehydrate quickly if s/he is dehydrated (someone had mentioned dehydration).

I'm happy to come back with good news. I took CC to the vet and they diagnosed her with Acid Reflux.  Apparently dogs can get this and if there stomach gets too empty at night they wake up with a sour stomach.  So I need to give her epcid AC and also give her a little snack before bedtime so her tummy is full and satisfied when she is sleeping.  I feel better that I went and at least found out what was wrong with my little girl. She is better and frisky as ever. Thanks for all your support.

Good news!
Maybe after she gets used to the extra meal at bedtime she won't need the Pepcid.
My IG immediately responded to the bedtime meal and he no longer vomited bile in the early morning hours.

Glad you found out what occuring, thankfully it sounds easily remedied.
