Billy - a bit of a positive update I hope

It could also be more internet trouble.  I assumed no news was good too, but figured I'd check in.

Just found this from Callie in my old email account this morning and I hope it's ok to repost it here for everyon who has asked.
 
I have just NOT been able to get online all week hardly -- major DSL
problems and dial--up too and NO TIME at all.

Billy's got a BAD UTI.  This about explains it -- I'm racing to post
this before I fall offline and we've gotta drive to Gainesville yet
and it's 10:00 and we haven't even eaten yet.

This is the weekend of the U of FL Dog Owners and Breeders Symposium
-- then Sunday is REST (up at our favorite dog-friendly inn in
Gainesville) and then Monday Billy has a big guns appointment with
Dr. Goldkamp at the University Small Animal Hospital.  I'll be
reachable e-mail and I MIGHT be able to snitch a bit of time on my
husband's laptop but no guarantees there cos he's gotta work from the
room on Sunday.  BUT I won't be back til Monday night late.

Good thots would be great -- my biggest concern is that the
antibiotics for this UTI of Billy's may cause a relapse of the
IMHA.  Yes, ... it's possible.  I apologize that I haven't been
around more but I just have NOT been able to get online this week at
all -- and no way of knowing how long I can stay afloat tonight --
it's an intermittent problem with the DSL/phone lines.  ugh.

The email I posted above was sent Friday nite.  PLEASE everyone lets send some good thots and healthy vibes as well as prayers for Billy AND Callie and David.

Glenda, thank you for sharing that email.  I was getting concerned after not "hearing" anything last week.  I was away from a computer all day yesterday, and I'm trying to catch up now.  This was the first thread I looked for, and I was glad to see your post.  I was thinking I'd PM you directly if there wasn't anything new on the thread -- but you beat me to it.  I was hoping it was just internet problems, too.
 
I'll double up on the good thoughts and vibes that I've always got going for Billy (and his family).  I wish there were more productive ways to help, but sendng prayers will do for now.  We're all sending you hugs Billy - and stay strong and upbeat sweetheart!

I'm sending prayers and healing thoughts too; I hope the UTI clears up soon.

I did a whole new post about our Gainesville trip (went well) -- the darned internet trouble has been unending -- and we came home to the DSL modem fried *again*.  So I'm back on for now, but we'll see what's ultimately causing all the yuck!!!
