Dent in head

• Dent in head Jenny Nguyen Posted : 6/28/2006 2:43:08 PM I woke up this morning with my dachshund, Twinky, rolled over next to me on his side and noticed a little dent on the side of his head that wasn't there yesterday. It's about 1 inch deep and it doesn't pain him. I was wondering if I should take him to the vet or not since it doesn't seem to hurt him and I know nothing was dropped on his head or anything like that. Twinky is 9 years old and hasn't had any problems since 3 yrs ago with his back which is fine now. [] Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! • forpaws Posted : 6/29/2006 7:10:29 AM Twinky is 9 years old It looks normal to me. Some dogs as they age get thin in the face and their facial structure shows more. Like we age or loose weight, our cheek bones stick out more and eye sockets are sunken in a bit. If you are really worried about it, take her to the vet for them to ease your mind.
