My lab-x has fur missing around his right eye. His left one looks fine - but it looks like a fine ring around his right and it's almost bald. This doesn't seem to be happening anywhere else, just in this one spot. He did have some goopy stuff coming out of that eye a couple weeks ago but it cleared up. (Greyish coloured.) Could it be related?
I had asked about his rashes several weeks ago. We switched him to an allergy food to see if it would help with what we thought was a contact allergy. (The vet thought he was allergic to grass, we tried an elimination diet plus allergy formula and his rash is almost completely gone without meds!!) I was wondering if this might be left over from the allergy as well?
He's not scratching or rubbing - so I wasn't going to get too worried about it - but it's been like that for a couple weeks now.
Should I take him into the vet or just continue to monitor?
