Lost tick

I recently lost a tick in my house. I was petting my dog and it jumped onto my hand and fell onto the carpet. I've been looking everywhere and can't find it. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do? Is my house going to become infested with ticks? I am so worried! Please help!! [sm=uhoh.gif]

i would think that the tick has most likely found its way back outside. of course if you are using something like frontline, the tick is probably dead by now where ever it is.

Thank you for responding. It just so happens I found the tick in my hair the next morning!!!!!!!!!!! Ughhhhhhhhhhh.

Those nasty little things have a way of showing up when you think they have disappeared. I'm a tick magnet so I know what you mean. Ewwwww!!
