Dandruff

• Dandruff RidgebackGermansShep Posted : 5/7/2006 10:37:05 AM Hi, My one year old german shepherd has a lot of dandruff. I can only see it when i ruffle his hair up the opposite way, but there's a lot. He has had allergy problems in the past, but he seems to have gotten better. He is eating Canidae, and has fish oil and vitamin E everyday. Is there anything i can do to rid him of his dandruff? Another thing is that every morning he has big green eye boogers...what could be causing those?? • papillon806 Posted : 5/7/2006 11:21:59 AM I would go to the vet and get a medicated shampoo (either the general one-- can't remember the name, or the ketox? ke-something, lol).  My parent's cocker has had skin issues and was on a great food and supplements, but the only thing that got rid of the dandruff was a shampoo the vet gave them.
