UPDATE - Worried mom - diarrhea, mucous, coughing

Her cPLI test came back today - no signs at all of pancreatitis.   The normal range is 0 - 200, the questionable range is 200 - 400, over 400 is diagnosed as pancreatitis.  Her result was < 30 !
So now I just need to figure out what it was in my food that didn't agree with her.  I suspect that sweet potato is OUT.  I tried giving her a little yesterday, first fork mashed then pureed with the submersible blender and she threw up :(

On the lighter side - I heard my husband taking to her in the other room last night .... "its ok sweetheart, it took daddy a long time to get used to mommy's cooking too"

This is so funny because my hubby goes around telling folks he didn't know what good cooking was he married me.  His mom was an awful cook....she didn't like to cook and didn't put any effort into it.

i hope you get things straightedn out with Prancer soon.

LOL - two weeks before we got married my husband asked me to make him a scrambled egg .... I didn't know how !   My mother was quite overprotective of the kitchen - I couldn't even make myself a cup a tea - she was afraid I'd burn the house down.

I think Prancer's problems are (a) high fat doesn't agree with her and (b) she doesn't do well with sweet potato, which was in almost ALL my food !  Poor kid, I never thought a dog would be intolerant of sweet potato.  I pureed some last night and added it to her Hill's I/D and she threw it up !
