• Small lumps under the tongue and I am freaking out!!! Jen M Posted : 4/14/2006 8:57:19 PM My dog is a 4 year old German Shep. mix. He went to the vet yesterday for a teeth cleaning. The vet found two white head/pimple looking bumps under his tongue that were about 5 mm total in length. She biopsied them so now we wait for the lab results and I'm going crazy. She said she is 99% that it is nothing but she did the biopsy to be on the safe side but I'm not so sure. Has anyone ever experienced this? • calliecritturs Posted : 4/15/2006 6:42:21 PM It was good to biopsy it, but typically cancer doesn't take the form of 'whiteheads' -- could be something the dog got into that irritated the mouth.  I wouldn't worry given the vet's comment -- they don't usually give a comment like that unless they are quite sure, AND you did biopsy it to be sure.  0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. I feel like a first time parent sometimes since he's my first dog.
