Seasonal Allergies?

    Seasonal Allergies?

I know it's possible for animals to get seasonal allergies but it's funny.  Yesterday all the sudden Quinns (after me exclaiming how great his and Keva's eyes looked a couple days ago) eyes started getting itchy and runny.  They is a yellowish gunk coming from them now.  Keva was fine yesterday and then this morning the same thing started with her.  Ryan (DH) said his eyes are doing the same thing, and mine are defentally not normal but I have been sick so I atributed it to that.  Is it possible that we all are suffering from spring allergies?  Living in a place I never have before I am more then certain that there are things I have never been exposed to and that is the same for the dogs.  Does this make sense.  I was thinking that I would just let it go for another day and see.  Our next door neighbors just cut down about 5-6 decent sized trees and I am wondering if they got something all stirred up and that is partially what's making it so bad.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

[size=3]There is definitely a possibility that this is allergies.  I'm not sure where you live, but most places are feeling the effects of spring (unlike here, where the rain never seems to end).  The neighbor cutting the tree down probably did stir up even more pollens than normal.  You can use a wet washcloth to keep the eyes cleaned off and you may want to bathe them more often if they start to get itchy.  Benadryl works well for some dogs for the itchies too.  This is a site I signed up for below.  I get an email alert whenever the pollen count is med-high.  It also tells me what's causing the high allergen for that day.
