Natures Guardian- anyone heard of it?

I was at Wal mart last nigth and came across this stuff. it is made by Seargents. Is an all natural flea and tick repellant. Comes in a spray or a monthly spot on.

Not expensive so I got some. And sprayed it on the dogs today. Smells wonderful. My hands still smell like it even after several washes leading me to think it will actually stay on the animlas. So I have no idea if it works but they smell good. [;)]

Would like to know what you all think of the stuff.

    Active ingredients are:
    Peppermint oil 1%
    cinamon oil 1.5 %
    lemmon grass oil 1.5%
    clove oil 1.7%
    thyme oil 1.7%
    Other ingredients:
    vanillin, isopropyl myristate
    isopropyl alchohol

The warning is basicly against inhaling the vapors or getting in the eyes. Do not get on eyes nose or genetalia. Do not saturate the coat.
    Best if used year round.

I've tried an all natural flea repellent. I think it works for low levels but not for heavy flea infestation. The one I tried smelled delicious to humans but the dogs didn't care for the scent at all.

gs don't seem ti mind it. My cat is ok too. I looked at the botles for cats and the ones for dogs and the ingredients are identical. Just one is labled for cats and kittens and one for dogs and puppies.

    They're labeling that for CATS?!?!?!?!

Essential oils are TOXIC to cats. Their livers cannot process them.

Yeah it is labled for cats. Never heard anything about essential oils being toxic to cats. have to look into that. My kitty seems fine with it and it's been a few days since she had it.

Yeah, Google it. Cats' livers can't metabolize essential oils. Their livers are different from dogs' livers. They're very sensitive creatures. Lots of shampoos and flea products aren't safe for cats.
