tuan12345, Welcome to i-dog. You said you don't have a license for this dog; is it an injured dog that you found? You said he had an x-ray; does the vet have any idea what his problem is? Is the dog vomitting or having diarrhea? Is this an old dog? Is the dog in pain? When a dog is in pain they won't eat. Were any x-rays taken of his back? Did the vet do some blood tests and a thorough physical exam? Is it possible that he has a broken back? Do you have any idea what could have caused his problem; could he have been hit by a car, jumped from a high place and been injured when he landed, anything?

This dog was given to us. I'm not sure if it was an x-ray or not, but we took him to a vet. They recommended us to have a full exam for the dog, which costs close to 1K (can't afford). The dog does no vomit nor has diarrhea. The dog is not old, I do not believe the dog is in pain, it does not moan or cry, it also uses it's two front legs to move around the first day, it's the 2nd day now, and it longer has the strength to drag itself. We brought some medication from the vet (Vets). One day the dog was running in the back yard, the next he was staying inside his dog house. There are no high places he could've jump from. The highest would be 2 feet, which is his dog house he often jump from.

What was the medication you got from the vet called?

Are there any ticks on this dog? Look the dogs body over to find and remove carefully, all the ticks that may be on this dog. Ticks can cause a dog's hindquarters not to function properly.

    How is your dog today?

tuan, forpaws is right; ticks can cause the symptoms you describe. How is your dog doing? Does the medicine seem to be helping? Did the vets tell you what they thought the problem was?
