Can I have some quick help?

My new dog, sally, a 12 pound JRT is has some really loud noises in her abdoman. It sounds like squirty diareah (sorry about the gross mental thought, but seriously, that is exactly what it sounds like). The noise is almost constant. She rejected her dinner tonight. I can not imagine what she could have eaten that would be bothering her. Her stomach is very hard. do I need to do anything? She is not whining, but does seem bothered by something. I am worried about her.

I would take her for a short walk and see if she can go to the bathroom. If she seems painful and restless, you may need to see a vet. It can probably wait until morning if she's just uncomfortable, but if she can't sleep or seems REALLY painful, she may have to see a vet sooner.

We have taken her out several times now. She squats like she has to go, but doesn't go. She isn't acting in pain...but the noises are getting louder and more frequent. It is pretty much a constant noise.

When did she poop last ? What did it look like ?  Does she seem agitated (not laying down, pacing) ?

Its actually better to have gut activity than none at all, but if she continues to strain to poop, then she should probably see a vet before the end of the day.

she has not gone poop at all. Our vet is not in right now and we have an appointemnt for tomorrow morning. Except for the weird noise and the lack of a BM, she is acting normal. My gut says she will be okay until her appointment tomorrow. she ate and drank this morning.

My dog made gurgle noises when I mixed 2 differnet protiens in the same meal,,,think it was raw chicken and raw rabbit.   SHe did go poop in the morning tho.  I never mixed proteins again and it never happened again.

It is good that you have a vet apppointment for tomorrow. Keep an eye out until then for any behavior change. If she has not eaten anything that can cause an obstruction, the only thing I can think about is constipation which can be caused by several things. But I am far from an expert. Let us know what you find out.
