My dog has two tiny scabs on his muzzle near his right eye. Each one is smaller than the tip of my pinky finger. I first noticed them shortly after another dog was staying with us. The dogs
lay and wrestle, so I assumed Ace just got scratched on the muzzle during play and would heal up soon. But that was over a week ago, and they scabs have not healed up. They haven't gotten worse or spread or anything, but they have not gotten any better, either. He doesn't seem itchy and I haven't noticed him scratching at it (but he certainly could be when I'm not watching him). Otherwise, he seems perfectly normal.
Do you think I need to vet him for this? If not, is there some kind of cream or something I can put on there to facilitate healing?
