It would be interesting to see if the itching stops when her feet are covered with booties...if it is strickly contact dermatitis the booties would help but if it is inhalation they would do nothings...I'm not saying to try this its just my inquisitive mind speculating
I've thought about the booties and will probably end up getting her some. I'm sure it would help. Even if it is contact AND inhalation, it would help her not chew on her feet so much on a bad day.
And Sally, thanks for all the help when I was going through the testing and all. I got really used to giving her the shots and now it's no big deal and she doesn't seem to mind at all - which helps me feel better about giving them. And I know that there will be bad days, like you said, but they're bearable now that we know we're helping her and we'll just give her Benadryl on those days, too. How often do you give Trudy the shots now? We're in the process of a shot every 3 weeks for another couple weeks and then once a month until late April then we go back to the vet for more serum and a re-check.
