Hi!  I'd say you were a pretty good dog owner,,,you are concerned about your dogs health!!
Okay,,so,,,is this the first time that your dog had diarrhea?  How long have you had your dog? Did you just change his food to something he hasn't had before? Has he just had anything different then usual..such as food, medications, vaccinations or flea or heartworm preventatives?  Has he been vaccinated against Parvo? And if so, how long ago?   How is he acting otherwise and is he eating and drinking?
Diarrhea could make him dehydrate..so you must make sure he has liquids.   When I gave my dog a raw piece of meat this happened to her... but I was pretty sure she was not sick...and the bone was the only thing that was changed.    But if you have a new puppy,,,you must worry about illness,,especially parvo...its a nasty disease.   But there are other illnesses that could cause it too.  There is so much to take into consideration.    I hope its a one time thing.

Yes he's my first dog I had others but my parents were the ones who cared for them. Now I'm an adult who owns a dog on her own for the first time. I haven't changed he's diet he's been using the same brand of puppy rice and lamb flovered one that the vet said he should take until he gets a few years old. He is only 1 year and  3months, I wouldnt say he has diarrhea he never had  since we changed he's dog food over a year ago when we got him. He takes heartworm preventatives every month as directed by he's vet, he's acting very hyper which is very normal for him he's eating normal, playful. He had a  he's bordatella on the 13th of last month. :) I keep up to date with all he's shots. All that I can think of is that I bought him some doggy cookies they are like oreo's for humman but made for dogs but he's been eating that for about a 2 weeks. I will stop giving him those treats just to see if maybe thats what caused such thing. I don't think its diarrhea because it was clear like a water subtance.

Come to think of it, my sons Dane Ollie used to have problems with things like dog Peanut butter flavored things,,,I think I know the kind of cookies you are talking about,,,I have purchased the same for Ollie on occasion,,,can't remember if those bothered him. I'm glad he hasn't had any new medications or anything like that,,,and if the cookies are the only thing new, it sure might be whats bothering him.  Has he had any normal poops since this started? That would be important,,,if he is doing every thing else normal there is not as much to worry about I don't think.
