Davet is right there...I didn't even think of that, even though we have to have that done to one of our dogs. When the ears are really gunky and inflamed, they hurt a lot. And it's a battle for anyone to do a good job cleaning. Flushing leaves the ears squeaky clean without the battle, and you have a better chance for the meds to do their job. If your Vet doesn't offer that, you might want to go elsewhere, but I think most Vets do this.
Ear infections can be hard to clear up, but you'd have a better chance with a flush.
