She's better, but question about pumpkin

Bogey is better and the diarreah is much better. Sorry but this is graphic. The other day it was like liquid and now it's more formed but still mushy and a gold-ish color. But this is a great improvement. She's not having to go constantly but just at her regular times: morning, later afternoon and before bedtime. I've been feeding her rice and boiled chicken. Should I give her pumpkin? If so, how much?

I would definately give her some pumpkin. I'd give about a tablespoon or two.

When Liz had diarreah because of a food change the pumkin didnt work, but the chicken did. When she ate something that didnt agree with her the pumkin worked wonders.

Sometimes it just depends. I'd give it a shot.

Thanks much. I put in hardly any chicken as she's often allergic to it if she eats too much. But I'm going to try the pumpkin. She eats anything and everything. . . we have no idea what caused the diarreah as we haven't done anything different, but it could be a virus or something, too. She's drinking and acting like normal. Thanks. !

Jenny, I hope Bogey gets better soon. If Bogey has problems with chicken you could try boiled hamburger.

Well, I made another batch of rice and NO chicken and it seems to be helping. I added a big spoonful of pumpkin and it seems to work wonders.  This morning her poop was back to normal. I'm going to keep giving her rice ONLY for another day or 2 and then slowly add her kibble back.  Thanks for your help.  We had Chinese food last night and had quite a bit of steamed rice left over so used that !
