diarrhea!!!

• diarrhea!!! m. bass Posted : 3/24/2006 2:58:15 PM my dog has diarrhea...i noticed he had soft stools yesterday, but todays its full blown!! i've been looking a the board, and i feel like i'm getting mixed info on what to do...some say fast them for a day...others say feed them pumpkin or something bland...what should i do?? he's not really acting like he feels bad, but he's got a major case of the runs... • dyan Posted : 3/24/2006 3:04:43 PM I think pumpkin is great to firm up the stools a bit but not sure if it helps for a full blown case of  diarrhea,,, didn't for Ollie anyway.   I have always used Pepto Bismol   (sp) for our dogs,,,,   of course it took 3 of us to get down half of what Ollie should have had I'm sure and then we needed to wash the walls and change our pink clothes..........................
