At some point, many people are strapped for cash, and unexpected vet visits can pose a problem. That's why I always try to have money set aside from things like that or, if anything, keep a credit card clear incase I don't have the cash. Also, some vets will hold checks until when sufficient funds will be in your account. Perhaps you can check with vets in your area to see if that's possible or if someone has a payment plan. Many vets do offer payment plans, although some offer it fonly or greater problems, such as surgeries.

Also, do you know if your neighbor treats her dog for fleas? It doesn't hurt to ask, especially if your dog will be playing with their dog.[sm=wink2.gif]
