• Annual Exam – Pets should visit the vet at least once a year for a check up, to receive any vaccines they may need and just an overall wellness visit to make sure they are doing well.
• Spay/Neuter – It is very important to have your pet spayed or neutered. It not only keeps down on overpopulation but also helps with medical issues.
• Daily Exercise – This is not only good for your pet but also good for you.
• Weight Management be sure to maintain a proper weight for your pets, obesity is a huge problem with many pets today. Overweight pets can have heart and joint issues.
• Dental Care – If you pets will tolerate it try to brush their teeth regularly. You should have them checked annually. Dental problems can lead to other problems such as kidney issues and digestion problems if they cannot properly chew their food.
• Balanced Diet – Be sure to get you pet the proper nutrition. Many pets require different proteins and supplements to keep them healthy. Always be sure to check with your vet to make sure your pets are getting what they need to keep them strong and healthy.
