Dog smells after going to dog park

• Dog smells after going to dog park Paulo Posted : 4/17/2006 10:12:46 AM Anyone else have this problem with their dog?    I had given Boomer a bath on a Sunday.  Usually he would be fine and not smell at all for many weeks.  But a couple of days later we took him to the dog park and ever since we noticed he smelled.  Could he have gotten this from playing with the other dogs (jumping on them, rubbing up against their smelly fur)? • jprinz99 Posted : 4/17/2006 6:52:30 PM my guy can come home from the park smelly on occassion. It seems to be when he has a 'juicy' bunch of playmates to rough house with. Something about all that slobber getting on Tyler's coat makes him stink like he hasn't had a bath in a onth of Sundays. In a pinch, a baby wipe will work to get rid of the smell (instead of another full bath right away).
