Oh gosh, I'm so sorry! If you will email me (my email is in my signature picture at the bottom right of the 3 dogs) I've got a few things I'll send you. In your diet you will want to include high anti-oxidant veggies (orange veg like squashes, carrots, and cruciates like broccoli, brussels sprouts, etc.) as well as fruits of a similiar vein (blueberries, etc.)
You're in the uk right? I don't know that BHI - Heel products are distributed there but Traumeel is an excellent homeopathic anti-inflammatory/trauma treatment. It's a homeopathic blend. If you can't get it there, we can surely arrange a barter. I'll send you some and you can send me something (my husband is from Dundee -- I'll make you laugh if I tell you how much I pay for a drum of Bisto here LOL).
Does your vet use homeopathy as a modality?
Does your vet actually use TCVM? (Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine) ... in that case there are *many* herbals that are incredibly helpful for cancer. Again, it's something we can chat about via email if you like).
I've got some background in "classical" homeopathy -- but typically for safety's sake it's better to use a blend and I'm handicapped not knowing what's sold in the UK (I know they don't allow Boiron to distribute there and thats a major brand of "single remedies" here).
If they sell Guna products in the UK, their "FLAM" is very similar to TRaumeel and is an excellent blend for inflammation and I would definitely imagine it would be involved in a cancer protocol.
Has the vet done bloodwork to know where the liver values are? Keeping the liver values down will help reduce the seizure risk, altho if there is a cranial tumor that may just happen.
There are other herbals that can help. Essiac Tea is commonly used, and Maitake mushroom can be REALLY helpful (it's a polysaccharide and it helps protect cells from cancer invasion).
Since you are doing a mostly raw diet you are, I hope, avoiding grains?? carbs feed cancer and make it grow. Veggie "carbs" (like in carrots) are ok simply because the anti-oxidant benefit outweighs the small amount of carbs and those sorts of carbs are absorbed differently than grains anyway.
Does your vet do homeopathy at all? I have a list of addresses if you want them that might help you with more information. If you email me, I'll scan this and send it to you.
Let me know how I can help!!
