• Ruth Posted : 9/28/2006 5:22:06 PM I bought a shower attachment for the guest bathroom for my dog.  It has a nozzle that comes off so you can move the showerhead around.  It has really helped with baths.  Before I had to keep him in the bathtub while I used a bucket to pour water over him, which was challenging at times.  Now I can keep a stream of water on him all the time and he is less squirmy and doesn't try to escape.  He just seems to like it better.  In fact last time he hopped into the bathtub on his own!  Much better than having to pick up an unhappy 50 lb. dog and put him in the tub!  0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • orangedog Posted : 9/28/2006 8:58:14 PM My tub is really deep and low, so it nearly kills my back when I bathe them but I don't have any other choice but to us that tub as it's the only one in the house. Besides that though, it's easy. They all stand nicely, or sit, or lay down depending on what I ask of them. • sallya Posted : 9/29/2006 11:46:27 AM Trudy weighs 12 1/2 pounds. She doesn't shake really. I wash, condition, then have towels for her so I wrap her up quickly. If she shake a bit, I just wipe the water off. I cannot do the bathtub thing. • sweetbon Posted : 9/30/2006 8:16:57 PM Well, I gave  Zoe a bath in the kitchen sink a couple of days ago, and, it seems to be a bit small.  Maybe she is longer than your dogs.  It definetly was easier on the back tho!   I just may have to get used to it, and then it will be ok.  She didn't seem to know what to do, as she's never been in the kitchen  sink before!     I will try it again.
