We are going to have a urinalysis done asap. Just working up the funds to follow through with possible antibiotics, etc.
Oh, I know how hard that can be, especially in these times. I have used money that I was saving to buy some home furnishings to have tests done for Jessie, but these days it's hard to have any savings on hand. Has your vet given you any reasons for the frequent urination? Is she good about answering questions over the phone so you wouldn't have to schedule an appointment to talk to her? My vet has always been great about that, and many vets are.

. In the meantime I will look for other recipes so I can hopefully vary his menu. He is not a fussy eater so it should not be much of a problem :)
The recipe I linked is for liver disease, so if you try other recipes make sure they're for liver disease too. There is another person who does consultations and is less expensive than Monica;
Better Dog Care, Better Dog Nutrition - Creating Healthy Lifestyles for Canines: Canine Nutrition Consultations
I think her fee is $140. She has had the same courses as Monica, from the same university. You'll need to ask her if she has experience in doing diets for dogs with health issues though. I know that Monica will work with your vet but I'm not sure about Sabine.
