    Growth between toes

I have 7 year old mongrel bitch, adopted from the street in Dahab, Egypt (where we still live) She is spayed and has always been in excellent health since she was rescued (very poor state at the time)

She has recently developed a growth between the 2 middle toes of her front, left paw. It is soft and causes he no discomfort or distress and doesn't effect her mobility at all.

Local veterinary advice is restricted to knowledgeable ex-pats.

Can anyone tell me if it is a cause for concern and of any possible treatment (pictures attached.....maybe, I can't work out if they have attached or not?)

    Thanks

     Steve

I can't get the pictures to show but by your description these things typically aren't a huge problem.  Typically the vets here will leave them alone until they begin to cause discomfort (in other words if the dog starts biting at it or obsesively licking it) *then* they will remove it.

    Good luck! and Welcome!!

Thank you very much for your reply, I figured as much, but wanted to be sure. as I said, it causes her no problems, even though is the size of a large grape.

    Thanks again.
