Curamin??

    Curamin??

I went to the health food store to pick up some coconut oil, and while i was there i asked the lady if she knew of anything I could give Sheba to help ease any pain she has - not 100% shes in pain, but she's old, hobbles around- Im sure she has arthritis.  I know there was one product I was looking at online that was made for dogs. She suggested something called 'curamin' its made from turmeric. (I've read online that turmeric itself is a great for easy arthritis pain in dogs), so this Curamin is the main 'anti-inflammatory' part of the turmeric. The lady said that a customer at her store has been giving it to her dogs after she saw how well it worked on herself.

So I got it. I'm not sure how much I should give Sheba. I definitly want to try it. I'm also goning to have two of my firends try it. They're in chronic pain all the time. One friend even had to go to the hospital about 3 weeks ago to get 'pain shots' and after 3 and still in pain they sent her home to 'come down' from the drugs. In her case they cannot figure out why she is in pain, and its been years now. So I hope she'll try it, something has to work for her.

     Has anyone else tried it?

I found a couple threads online of people giving it to their dogs, but they did not state the dosage.  so here's the 'specs' on this stuff:

ok I didn't want to type it all out! LOL

    http://www.curamin.com/ingredients.htm

for humans it says 1 capsule 3x Daily or as needed.

I'm going to do some more research, but wanted to see what you all thought.

    thanks!

My vet does like trying turmeric for arthritis in dogs - says she's been seeing some good results.

An easy rule of thumb is half the adult human dose to start and until you really research it to know if it will be well tolerated.
