I am no expert either - I am fairly knowledgeable about human physiology and exercise, stretches, injuries, etc. And I have had psoas problems on and off for years. It makes perfect sense to me.
And if you think back when I was trying to figure out what was happening with B, I posted a pic with an area circled. I noticed this morning that he was sore there again. I told her and she was checking it out and said oh that is his psoas and she could tell immediately it was very tight. She stretched it for him and although it was clearly uncomfortable (mouth shut and very still) he seemed to appreciate the relief.
The exercises are interesting because he has always been a dog that does not do that begging pose nor does he like to be only on his back legs with his front legs high up on someone. He will on occasion get up like that on a fence to see something so that is how I will have to work on that - after he is healed of course.
I'm hopeful that we can work on this to protect the other knee. The therapist has felt around that knee and seems to think it is strong and healthy right now.
I'll print this and see what she says on Tuesday
