Has the vet aspirated the bump; at least that way you'd know if it was a mast cell tumor and it only takes a few minutes to get the results. Could be a sebaceous cyst; Jessie has one on her chest. I'm so sorry he's having all these problems and will be praying for him.

No, not yet.  Vet didn't seem overly concerned yet; did say that it could be something like you said, a cyst or mast cell mass... I think once we deal with the immediate problems then we will get back to that.  I think the vet thinks it will go away with more antibiotics or else it's a pressure thing.  I thought it was a pressure thing at first too, but now I'm thinking that it's something more.  It's really not getting any worse or larger or redder, but I do definitely want it taken care of.

It's hard to tell anymore what's related and what's separate symptoms, you know?

Thanks for the prayers and for 'listening' to me!

No problem; before Jessie started immunotherapy, she was at the vet all the time because of her allergies. I remember calling the vet on New Year's Eve because some of her toes were swollen and infected.  She's had ear infections and sores on her feet at the same time. Many of us here know how frustrating it is to be going through this. Hang in there; you couldn't have better advice than what Callie gives you.Big Smile
