Has the vet aspirated the bump; at least that way you'd know if it was a mast cell tumor and it only takes a few minutes to get the results. Could be a sebaceous cyst; Jessie has one on her chest. I'm so sorry he's having all these problems and will be praying for him.
No, not yet. Vet didn't seem overly concerned yet; did say that it could be something like you said, a cyst or mast cell mass... I think once we deal with the immediate problems then we will get back to that. I think the vet thinks it will go away with more antibiotics or else it's a pressure thing. I thought it was a pressure thing at first too, but now I'm thinking that it's something more. It's really not getting any worse or larger or redder, but I do definitely want it taken care of.
It's hard to tell anymore what's related and what's separate symptoms, you know?
