    my older rotty started with a nose bleed on friday while at groomers seen by vet he maybe stressed since i left him all day. sautrday we went for our walk in the park we went to sit and relax and drink water before we to the car and second nose bleed for about 10 minutes. sunday morning we slept in woke up about 9:30am and i found my baby with blood over the floor, we raed him to his vet he then send us to they er where they did blood work but everything came back normal. he was given an antibiotic and a nasal spray. monday, tuesday and wednesday all day he was perfect. wednedsay around 7:30 nose bleed again alot of blood but did not last long kind of on and off, thursday back to vet and they doing alot of x-ray's and diffrent tests monday morning.  thursday evening nose bleed started at 7:06pm but ok all day, friday nose bleed again started 7:11pm but fine all day...... what is with the 7pm hour it seems that all his nose bleeds start between 7:00 and 7:11 pm.. now we dont know for sure if it is nasal tumor but that what we looking for monday  does anyone here have any ideas or have  heard of similar situation.

    Is this after he eats?  is it after he's been outside (maybe he's getting into something?)

    I would think an ultrasound or something similar -- it's difficult to 'see' in there because of the Jacobsen's Organ ... but given that you can set your clock by this it would seem to me that either the dog is scenting something that is triggering the bleeding or if it is only eating one meal before this or *something* has to be triggering that time to be sensitive.

    I'd also think that they should be able to scope that but they might have to sedate the dog.

     When they checked the blood did they specifically check the platelets?

    Low platelets can cause nose bleeds.
