 can't really get into this because i  had kind of a low cost situation...when I got out of vet school after 9 years in college I owed absolutly nothing becasue of the GI bill aned a state scholarship but them days are gone forever..People getting out now owe  probably a minimu nm of 50'000 bucks plus what it costs to set up a clinic..they are in debt up to their ears so have to have high fees just to cover  their equiiptment...I really think the  main thisng is that if you have confidence in your vet and his facilities, the extra expenses are  good for at least  the peace and  confidence...Just think of the same operation on a human would cost thousands and would not vary much except for the surroundings....go with whom you trust
