bumps on body, pictures included

Has she been playing, running, or rolling around in grass alot lately? If so, it might be a grass allergy.  My MinPin Jezzy, has a nasty grass allergy that shows up in bumps like that.  Last year was horrible for her - she looked alot like your girl does.  Much to her dismay, she hasn't been allowed out in the yard much this year when the grass is tall enough to seed (read we live in the country and bahaya in the yard lol).  We were playing fetch outside on the 11th, and the grass was tall enough that not only did she semi break-out in bumps, but she also got a grass seed in her ear.  She has been limited to indoor playing until the ear infection clears up, and we haven't seen a bump since then, so I know it is definitely the grass causing her rash.  Just another possibility other than her food. Benadryl helps Jezz alot as well.  Good luck with your girl!

Thanks dax;  My thinking was that if a vet hadn't checked her and given her a clean bill of health when you adopted her that would be all the more reason to worry about these bumps. Are they any better? She is so cute; at first I was thinking she was boxer/pit but then I noticed the feathering on the upper part of her rear legs.

Hi Dax. Cathy (cakana) called my attn. to your posts. My dog JayJay has been having an allergic rxn to fleas the past few days and his skin was broke out in hives that look similar to what star is experiencing. You can check out pics of jayjays skin here: [linkhttp://forum.dog.com/asp/tm.asp?m=82495&mpage=1&key=𔛘]http://forum.dog.com/asp/tm.asp?m=82495&mpage=1&key=𔛘[/link]
I hope this can help you. The benedryl is what worked for JayJay (and the elimination of fleas!) Good Luck!

    Hi, welcome to the forum...
It could be an allergic reaction to the food,
Talus had the same kind of bumps and it was his food...

Looks like hives to me. My minpin did that when I put him on Purina.
I think I would stop with the olive oil in the food in case that's throwing off the balance of the omega 3/6 oils.
Take her in if you can and ask about either benedryl (makes them pretty sleepy) or chlorpheneramine, which I really didn't notice any sleepiness with.

Also bathe with cool water to help soothe the skin.

Hope she feels better, :) thanks for taking in a rescue :)
