• my dog died jordon25 Posted : 5/7/2006 11:02:53 PM hi guys my dog died a few days ago and i was just looking for some answers. he was playing in the yard acting healthy he just got a check-up and the vet said he was fine then i found him on the floor dead. i was just wondering if anyone knows what couldve happened to him, the vet said he had liquid coming out of his nose which means it was a heart or lung problem but the vet said his lungs and heart were fine a few days ago i thought it couldve been an aneurysm, if anyone has any answers it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!(and he  died instantly by the way) LIKE 10 REPLIES 488 VIEWS LAST POST CHRISTI Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • Sofy Gil Posted : 5/7/2006 11:15:55 PM I am so sorry for your loss. It does sound like aneurysm, Is there any way they could check his body for an answer? Could he have gotten pneumonia? I know it doesn't always come on as cold symptoms sometimes just a fever. We're going through a loss as well with no apparent "illness/disease". • loveukaykay Posted : 5/7/2006 11:59:03 PM My Kayla died instantly in the middle of the night from a hemmorage or blood clot in her pancreas.  This was right after a bout with the pancreatitis which caused the pancreas to be inflamed and sometimes inflamation of an organ like that can cause unforseen problems.  I would suggest getting a necropsy done, but seems like a blood clot or something.  A reporter in Iraq recently died instantly seeming perfectly healthy and after an autopsy they found that he developed a blood clot in his leg from sitting in tight quarters for a long period of time. Sometimes these things happen and are undetectable as unfair as that is.  Why cant you have his remains back when they are done to be creamated or buried?   Im very sorry for your loss and I hope you find the answers you are looking for. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • dyan Posted : 5/8/2006 6:45:18 AM I'm so very sorry. What a terrible thing to happen,,,and to have it happen in that way, and so fast is really hard. I know, I lost my Mom that way!  BUT you can be at peace to know he didn't suffer and have to face some of the getting older problems and illnesses that so many of us have to suffer.  I guess if you really need to know why you can find out, if not, just be at peace with yourself for giving him a great life.   It does sound like a blood clot,  but I have to ask if he had been put on any medications or got any shots or vaccines when he was at the vet last week. That is a concern to me... Some things are just meant to be.   Its the hard part about life!
