Diarrhea again

Stool sample came back negative for anything.  Winston is eating again, spirits seem to be back to normal and he's eager to play.  He still has not pooped yet, but he's on Flagyl (sp?) so hopefully whatever comes out will not be diahrea or worse.  He's drinking water and eating his Hill canned food.  I am anxiously awaiting his poop - never in my life did I expect to hear myself say that.....

Glad to hear he is better! Maybe he just caught like the stomach flu? So has he gone yet?

Maybe it was the food switch, ideally this should be done gradually. Some dogs can handle the switch of foods others can't.    I'm happy to hear Blue is doing much better.

I never did figure out what caused him to be sick. I don't think it was the food since it was day 11 after food changed and I mostly changed him cold turkey on Canidae. I figured it would have started the second or third day on Canidae with diarrhea. I'm just going to go slowly on everything to see what caused the problem if I don't find out that way then it will remain unsolve.

BTW, I loved your bath time pictures of Blue and Kitties. They were wonderful. Kudo's to you for bathing Kitties and living to tell the story! LOL

Thanks! It wasn't easy trying to get a dog from under the computer desk trying his hardest to blend in with my brother. Cat's weren't that bad, Mocha kept jumping out while Eli just stood in there trying to figure out what would be the best way out there without being caught.

I can only bathe one of my kitties, he was hand raised by me and was washed often and loves to swim.
That's his mug below. The other one... You can forget it........

Do you go to a dog park? I noticed that Marley always ended up with diarrhea after we had gone to the dog park...I figured that he must be picking something up there. I stopped taking him for awhile and the runs stopped completely. Hmmm...

No dog ;parks around here unless you go like an hour or 2 away from here you may find a dog park.

Wow, that's scary.  We don't have any dog parks around here, but I think I would skip it if that happens.  Good luck!

I'm so happy that Winston finally pooped - it was still on the soft side, but it was formed and looked like real poop for a change!  He's still on the flagyl so I'm sure that's helping.  He is back to his normal self and happy to be in doggie day camp today.  Thanks everyone for your concerns and suggestions.
