They say that Slippery Elm is good for tummy complaints, internal swelling and stuff. You mix a teaspoon full with their food (for a dog) and it is meant to do wonders for digestion etc.
I guess when you think about it, when we humans have no food, we get faint and feel sick, but we control it, I guess its just the same for dogs, but when they feel sick, they actually vomit.
Im a firm believer of twice a day feeding. If your dog is sick at night, maybe give him a wee bit more food to "tie him over" until breckie. Maybe even reduce his breakfast to compensate for the larger meal.
