I tried a mint doggie toothpaste awhile back. And, you would of thought I'd given her poison. She started sneezing and drooling and she was making faces. It was ridiculous!
LOL...my dogs can't stand the stuff. One actually growled at me when they saw it next! I'm not sure if it was the paste or the finger brush goin in the mouth!
Oddly enough they all love candy canes (just small pieces mind you).
Glad to hear Gibby is feeling his old self.
