Please help me...

You poor dear!  I'm not sure I have any good advice other than has your vet ever mentioned Tylan powder?  A friend of mind has a GSD with diarrhea issues and she is now using this.  I'm not sure exactly what it's for or what it does.  My breeder said it helps with bacterial problems in the bowels that cause diarrhea (his has been somewhat inconsistent...some days he's fine).

The IBS is presumptive, as far as i know there's not a specific test or anything, but it's often associated with PF.

Endoscopy would give you a definate diagnosis on the IBS.  I only know because it was recommended that I have Willow scoped. 

Have they tried a long term-maybe even permanent- low dose of Prednisone?

PS--I've used Tylan too and it didn't work for Willow.  It can sometimes cause the symptoms to worsen, it all depends on the dog.  It's mostly used in cattle and other farm animals. 

 And white dogs It's the active ingredient in Angel's Eyes.

Oh Megan, first, you are not nor will you ever be a bad person for thinking about your boy's happiness.  I do not envy your position.  I hope you know that you have a lot of Megan & Kaiser fans here for you & pulling for both of you.
